Quick answers

I have forgotten my password. What now?
Choose Sign in with email and password on the sign-in screen, then Forgot password, and Vero emails you a reset link. If your school signs in with Microsoft there is no Vero password to reset — ask your IT administrator instead. See Signing in to Vero.
Can I use Vero on my phone?
Yes. Vero installs to your home screen from the browser — no app store, no separate account. Using Vero on your phone walks through it on iOS and Android.
Why can a colleague see Insights when I cannot?
Analytics is a separate permission. Teaching staff see the movement log; Insights, alert rules and the admin area are limited to school administrators and staff granted the Insight Viewer role. See Roles: who can see what.
A student never came back. Does the pass stay open forever?
No. Vero flags the pass as overdue against your school’s time limit and closes it automatically once that limit passes, so the log never fills with passes that were simply forgotten. See Overdue passes and the time limit.
How do I add a new destination?
Administrators manage them under Admin → Out of Class, and a change reaches every staff device immediately. See Set up destinations.
Can students create their own passes?
No. Only staff can issue a pass, which is what keeps every out-of-class movement authorised by a teacher and your duty of care intact.
