Smart Separation prompts a teacher decision
If a member of a staff-defined separation group already has an active pass, Vero warns the teacher before another pass is created. The teacher can wait or override with a recorded reason.

How long does it take to send a student out of class with Vero?
The pass workflow is designed to take under five seconds: open Vero, search the student’s name and tap a destination. On Connected, approved class and timetable data syncs automatically through Wonde; Core schools manage student data manually.
Does Vero work on a teacher’s phone?
Yes. Vero is a browser-based progressive web app for laptops, tablets and phones. Staff can add it to a home screen, with no app-store deployment, and use it in a modern browser on school-approved devices.
What happens if a student doesn’t come back on time?
Schools can configure overdue alerts for passes that exceed their chosen thresholds. The live pass shows the student’s name, recorded destination and time elapsed; the teacher can end the pass when the student returns, and the pass chronology is logged automatically.
Do teachers need training to use Vero?
No formal teacher training or dedicated professional-development day is required. The pass workflow is intentionally short, with an optional staff walkthrough, product guidance and launch support available.
Do teachers need another login for Vero?
When the school enables Google or Microsoft single sign-on, teachers can use their existing school account without a new Vero password. Other supported sign-in methods remain available when SSO is not configured.
