Live pass visibility. Clearer follow-up.

Vero gives principals a live view of active passes, selected destinations and elapsed times, plus searchable records for follow-up — without GPS or student devices.

What Vero gives you

School-wide dashboard — on any device

See active passes across the school in real time. Open Vero on a school-approved phone, laptop or tablet to review the student, selected destination and elapsed time without claiming a verified physical location.

Reports that matter

Review pass-record trends and selected-destination patterns by year level, house, class and time of day. School-defined alert rules can notify authorised staff when a configured threshold is crossed.

Lockdown readiness

During a drill or emergency, Vero shows active passes with student name, selected destination and departure time. That record can support the school's established response procedures; it is not a verified physical-location system.

Sound familiar?

Common gaps created by paper records, disconnected processes, and restrictive workarounds.

Bathrooms are locked

Parent complaints, student resentment — and it doesn't solve the underlying problem.

Paper sign-outs aren't working

Hard to search, aggregate or share with authorised leaders in real time.

Lockdown blind spots

During emergencies, you need to know who's out of class immediately. Paper can't give you that.

What Vero replaces

Locked doors, paper sign-outs, verbal check-ins, and manual spreadsheets each leave a different gap. Vero replaces those disconnected processes with one consistent record.

  • Paper sign-out sheets that are difficult to search and share
  • Blanket bathroom restrictions that can create access and reasonable-adjustment concerns
  • Verbal check-ins that rely on memory and may leave no searchable record
  • Manual spreadsheets pieced together for parent meetings
  • Phone calls to front office asking 'where is this student?'
  • Emergency guesswork about which students are out of class

Questions from principals

How quickly can we be set up?
A defined pilot group can generally be live within one week, subject to data readiness, Wonde approval and local allowlisting. Connected schools approve a read-only Wonde connection; Core schools use manual student-data management. There is no infrastructure deployment or formal teacher-training program.
Do teachers need training?
No formal training is required. The core workflow is two taps: select the student, choose a destination, done. In-app guidance supports the first use, while schools can still give staff a short briefing on their own local movement policy.
Can't our SIS already do some of this?
Some SIS platforms offer behaviour or uniform modules, and Vero does not replace them as the system of record. Vero is purpose-built for fast, everyday interactions and live movement visibility, with a two-tap pass workflow designed to take under five seconds.
What about student privacy?
School and role controls limit access, hosted production data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the primary application database is in Sydney. Supporting providers, purposes and processing countries are disclosed in our Privacy Policy so schools can assess Vero against the requirements that apply to them.
Which student information systems does Vero integrate with?
Vero Connected supports approved data syncing from Compass, SEQTA, Sentral, TASS, Synergetic and Daymap through Wonde. Vero Core uses manual student-data management, providing a pathway when automatic syncing is not selected.
Can we start with just one use case?
Yes. Start with digital out-of-class passes or another defined workflow, then enable other included modules when they fit your school. A paid one-term pilot provides a bounded way to evaluate the chosen use case.
