Staff sign in with SSO
When school SSO is enabled, teachers use their existing Google or Microsoft account without a new Vero password. Other supported sign-in methods remain available.

Common questions from IT teams evaluating Vero.
What domains need to be whitelisted?
Vero runs over standard HTTPS (port 443). Whitelist *.vero.education for application access. For email delivery, add @vero.education and @updates.vero.education to your safe senders list. No additional ports, VPNs, or special network configuration required.
Does Vero store student passwords?
No. Vero is a staff-facing tool — students don't log in and don't have accounts. There is no student-facing interface to sign in to, and nothing for your helpdesk to reset.
How do staff sign in, and do you store passwords?
Staff can sign in with their school Microsoft or Google account, a one-time link emailed to them, or an email and password. If your school uses school-account sign-in, Vero never sees a password at all. Where a password is used, it is never stored in readable form — authentication is handled by our identity provider, which keeps only a salted hash.
What happens to data when we leave?
An authorised school can request a reusable export. After a validated termination or deletion instruction, active records are targeted for removal within 30 days and recoverable backup copies expire within 90 days, subject to any applicable legal hold or agreed records obligation.
How does the SIS integration work?
Vero Connected uses a one-time, read-only Wonde approval from the school’s SIS administrator. Approved student, class and timetable data syncs automatically, and Vero does not write back to the SIS. Vero Core uses manual student-data management.

Vero is a progressive web app that runs in any modern browser — Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox. It works on laptops, tablets, and phones. No app store deployment, no MDM profiles, no browser extensions.
