Smart Separation

Put staff-defined separation context in front of the teacher. Vero warns about an active-pass conflict; the teacher can wait or override with a recorded reason.

Everyday tools

Support clearer school routines through everyday habits

Turn daily moments like late arrivals, uniform checks, and positive recognition into clarity and accountability that lift the whole school.

Confiscations

Register what was taken, print the student a receipt with a reference code, and track whether it's been returned or disposed of. Front office staff can process returns without wider access.

Kiosk Mode

Put a screen in the library or front office showing active passes to that selected destination, then let staff check students in so the recorded arrival time joins the pass history.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is digital hall pass software?
Digital hall pass software replaces paper sign-out sheets and corridor passes with timed digital records. When an authorised staff member creates a Vero pass, it records the student, selected destination and associated times, with the active pass visible to authorised staff in real time.
How does Vero benefit Australian schools?
Vero gives leadership a live view of active passes, cuts the admin of paper systems, and turns movement records into useful context for duty-of-care reviews, parent meetings and wellbeing follow-up.
What features come with Vero?
Digital passes, a live whole-school dashboard, Smart Separation rules, emergency pass visibility, late-to-class records, uniform checks, Values in Action positive recognition, a confiscations register, kiosk check-in, and reporting with CSV export.
Can Vero be customised to our school's policies?
Yes. Destinations, pass time limits, separation rules, and movement policies can all be configured per school to match how your school actually runs.
How does Vero support duty of care compliance?
Every pass is a timestamped record of the approving staff member, selected destination, departure and return. Authorised staff can search those records for an incident investigation, compliance review or parent meeting; the record supports those processes but does not prove compliance by itself.
What support does Vero offer during rollout?
A defined pilot group can generally be live within one week, subject to data readiness, Wonde approval and local allowlisting. Connected syncs approved student, class and timetable data through Wonde; Core uses manual student-data management. No formal training day is required, and an optional walkthrough and product guidance are available.
Is Vero suitable for primary schools and small campuses?
Vero is primarily designed for Australian secondary and P–12 schools. Primary and smaller schools can use a simpler teacher-led workflow, and published pricing is per enrolled student; use a demo and paid pilot to assess fit for your context.
