A clearer starting point for follow-up

Vero gives deputy principals searchable pass records, school-defined alerts and reports to review alongside student accounts, staff observations and professional judgement.

Tools built for your role

Searchable incident context

If an incident is reported, search authorised pass records by student, selected destination and time. Use that chronology alongside student accounts, staff observations and your school's investigation process.

Behaviour patterns, not anecdotes

See which students leave class most often, which periods are worst, and which destinations are overused. Bring data to parent meetings, not guesswork.

Smart Separation flags known conflicts

When a member of a staff-defined separation group already has an active pass, Vero warns the next teacher before another pass is created. The teacher can wait or override with a recorded reason.

Uniform records for consistent follow-up

Each uniform issue an authorised teacher records joins a per-student timeline with a timestamp, staff attribution and school-defined category. Leaders can review the record in context before deciding whether follow-up is appropriate.

Records when you need context

Vero organises teacher-created passes and selected school workflow records so authorised staff can review them alongside other relevant information.

Parent-ready reports

Exportable movement data in a clear, neutral format.

Incident-ready logs

Teacher-created pass history, searchable by selected destination, date and time.

Duty of care trail

Timestamped pass records that can support wider supervision and review processes.

Separation audit trail

Every Smart Separation alert and override is logged.

Questions from deputy principals

How is this different from the Principals page?
The For Principals page focuses on school-wide visibility, reporting, and lockdown readiness. This page focuses on the tools deputy principals use most: incident investigation, behaviour pattern analysis, Smart Separation alerts, uniform tracking, and parent meeting preparation. Same platform, different lens.
Can I search a specific student's pass history?
Yes. Search authorised pass records by student name, date range, time of day, selected destination or teacher. The result can provide context for incident investigations, parent meetings or duty-of-care reviews; it is not a record of the student's verified physical location.
How does Smart Separation work for student separations?
You put the students into a separation group. When one of them already has an active pass and another teacher tries to create a pass for a second student in that group, they're warned before it's issued — with who is already out, where they went, and how long ago. It applies school-wide, regardless of year level or who is teaching them, and a teacher can override it when there's a genuine reason.
Can I export reports for parent meetings?
Yes. Vero generates exportable reports showing a student's movement patterns — frequency, duration, destinations, and time of day. These are designed to be shared with parents in a factual, evidence-based format.
Can't our SIS already track student behaviour?
Many SIS platforms are the right place for long-term student records. Vero complements them with a fast operational workflow for live passes, uniform entries and positive recognition. Staff can create a pass in two taps, while the SIS remains the source of truth for enrolment and timetable data.
