How the staff-facing workflow works for younger students.
Do primary students need to log in?
No. Vero is staff-facing. A teacher or another authorised staff member creates and manages the record, so students do not need a Vero account or password.
Does a child need a phone, card or QR code?
No. The standard workflow is teacher-led and does not require the student to carry a device, scan a code or install an app.
Can our school choose which parts of Vero to use?
Yes. Schools can enable the modules that fit their routines and configure destinations, time limits, alerts and staff access. You can begin with out-of-class movement and add other workflows only if they suit your school.
Will teachers need formal training?
No formal teacher training or professional-development day is required. The everyday pass workflow is intentionally short, with a guided introduction and support available when staff need it.
How does Vero handle student privacy?
Vero is a staff-facing system with school and role-based access controls. Students do not have accounts, and Vero does not use GPS or facial recognition. Families can read the Student Safe-Use Guide and Privacy Policy.
Can a primary school run a pilot?
Yes. A pilot runs for one paid school term. If the school continues with an annual subscription, the pilot fee is credited in full towards that subscription.
