1. What Vero does
Vero helps authorised school staff know when a student leaves class, where they are expected to go and when they return. It may also help the school record lateness, uniform checks, positive values and related school activities.
Students do not receive Vero accounts or passwords. A teacher or other authorised staff member creates and manages the record. Your school decides which staff can see it and what school rules apply.
2. What may be recorded
Depending on your school's setup, Vero may hold your name, school, year, class or timetable, profile photo, and school activity records such as a movement pass, its destination and its start and return times.
Authorised teachers and school staff can see information they need for their work. They should enter only accurate, respectful and necessary information.
3. What Vero does not do
- Vero does not use GPS to track your phone or device.
- Vero does not use your photo for facial recognition.
- Vero does not show advertising or sell your information.
- Vero does not provide public profiles, social media, chat or direct messages from Vero staff.
- Vero does not use your school information to train or operate AI.
4. Questions about your information
If you want to know what information is held, think it is wrong, or want to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, speak to a trusted teacher or your school office. They can respond or contact Vero for you.
You may also read Vero's full Privacy Policy. Vero support works through authorised school staff and verifies authority before giving access to a school record.
5. Getting help
If something in Vero looks wrong, feels unsafe or worries you, tell a trusted adult at your school. For an immediate safety concern, use your school's emergency or child-safety process. Vero is not an emergency service.
You will not be in trouble for honestly reporting a concern. This guide should be read with your school's acceptable-use and child-safety rules.
