What may be recorded
Depending on the school’s setup, Vero may hold a student’s name, school, year, class or timetable, profile photo, and school activity records such as a movement pass, destination, start time and return time. It may also record configured school workflows such as lateness, uniform checks or positive values.

What Vero does not do
Vero records school activity entered or managed by authorised staff. It is not a student tracking device, social network or advertising service.
No GPS tracking

Vero does not show advertising to students, families or school staff.

Does my child have a Vero account?
No. Students do not receive Vero accounts or passwords. A teacher or another authorised school staff member creates and manages the record.
Does Vero track my child with GPS?
No. Vero does not use GPS to track a student’s phone or device. It records the destination selected by an authorised staff member and the times associated with the school record.
Does Vero use facial recognition?
No. A school may provide a profile photo as part of its student data, but Vero does not use that photo for facial recognition.
Does Vero show advertising, sell data or use school information to train AI?
No. Vero does not show advertising, sell student information or use school information to train or operate AI.
Who can see my child’s information?
Authorised teachers and school staff can see information they need for their work, according to the school’s access settings and staff roles. Vero support verifies authority before providing access to a school record.
What if a record is wrong?
Contact a trusted teacher or the school office and ask for the information to be reviewed or corrected. The school can respond directly or contact Vero through an authorised staff member.
